2007-11-14.nm.1: EU-wide Debian trademark

Whereas

  1. The Debian mark is an important piece of intellectual property;

  2. The Debian project wishes to protect the mark;

  3. The DPL has authorised expenditure for registering the Debian mark throughout the EU;

The SPI board resolves that

  1. Neil McGovern may proceed with registering the mark 'Debian' though a trademark solicitor with the Community Trade Mark system.
