This resolution was adopted by the Board of Directors of SPI at their meeting of April 10, 2023.

Resolution 2023-04-06.jln.1: Dissolve defunct committees

WHEREAS

1. The By-Law Committee, the Trademark Committee and the Open Source Committee have been defunct for the past two decades and are not mandated by the By-Laws.

2. Two of them have an upkeep to keep mailing lists around which have not seen activity from ten to twenty years, which would be better archived.

THE SPI BOARD RESOLVES THAT

1. The By-Law Committee, the Trademark Committee, and the Open Source Committee charters be revoked and the committee be abolished.
